KW isn't historically a girls basketball school. They just happen to have a really good team this season and should for the next several years. Other than football, the district is usually well balanced amongst the schools. It's not the fault of KW that they are the only 2A school in the Region. These kids just play who they are told to play. KW is also heavily favored to win the Region this year as well and have 3 wins over 5A schools and their only loss is to 4A Hanover, who is 19-1, themselves
