Even though the game is at Martinsville, I think Glenvar gets the win by 7. Glenvar is one of those teams that has come together, is clicking on all cylinders, and believes in themselves. They will be a tough out from here on out.
Dan River was a much better team the second half of the season. Shamar Ferguson moved to QB fulltime the Appo week and Jaidon Haynes (#1) moved to WR and ended up being the 2nd leading receiver for the Wildcats behind TyLyric Coleman (#2).Unless DR got a good bit better I would give Glenvar 14.
You crack me up lol. always dogging your team! I'm actually glad to see Martinsville doing well again reminds me the 70's when they used to battle E C Glass.Oldfool you are probably right. Martinsville is pretty bad. I really feel like Glenvar wins by 30, I was just trying to be supportive of the Dogs by originally saying they lose by 20. I hope the Glenvar coach doesn't embarrass them to bad next Friday. And if they do, we'll rest over the weekend and on Monday we will start to get ready for roundball.
Then wouldn't a team Martinsville beat and shut out this year be "really, really not that good?Martinsville is not that good, Glenvar by 20.
It's also tough to beat a very good team once.Hopefully it will be a good game but it's tough to beat a good team twice in a season
I'm an outsider from D looking in on C, but I'm not so sure about that. Glenvar might have been the best team all along, but had some injuries along the way and got healthy, made a change at QB, and now you are seeing their true colors.Glenvar's not the best team in C2
With all the rain and little chance of the field drying out, there is a small chance the game might be moved to Sat at Cburg. did that a few years ago with Gretna. One heck of a football game. I think this one will be as good as Appo and Radford. Just tough to beat the 2 matchups C is having this year. Anyway we could stagger these 2 games to different days? I would drive to Mavahi in a heartbeat to see it if not the same time as Radford.
I dont see rain in the forecast after today. Temp will be cold rest of week but the field should be plenty dry by FridayWith all the rain and little chance of the field drying out, there is a small chance the game might be moved to Sat at Cburg. did that a few years ago with Gretna.
Martinsville shut out GW 14-0.Did Martinsville shut somebody out this year? I don't remember. Hopefully it will be a good game but it's tough to beat a good team twice in a season and Glenvar is a good team. But as Coach Martin would say "I'll just show up with my rag-tag bunch and do the best that we can".
