A Goochland golfer won his region tournament but wrote down the wrong score on his card. He admitted the error, which disqualified him from the title.
Goochland High School freshman golfer Cole Pollard realized he had mistakenly recorded the wrong score on his scorecard after the regional tournament on Sept. 24. He reported the error, knowing it would keep him out of the state competition.
