The State Semi-final tickets have finally arrived from the VHSL. As a result ACHS will be pre-selling tickets starting on Thursday Dec. 1st and Friday Dec. 2nd. Tickets can be purchased from the bookkeeper at ACHS. Times that tickets will be sold are listed below.
Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The ticket booths will be open at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday for purchasing tickets. VHSL has a no re-entry policy. Once you are in the stadium you will need to stay in the stadium.
Due to this being a State Semi-final football game ticket price is $10.00. School age children (6 and up) will need to purchase a ticket. Only VHSL approved passes are accepted at the pass gate.
ACHS will also be offering satellite parking and a free shuttle bus to and from the game on Saturday. There will be two satellite parking locations. The first will be at Liberty Baptist Church (1709 Church Street) and the second will be at Appomattox Elementary School (176 Kids Place). The shuttle will be starting at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and will continue to shuttle people to the game until approximately 2:30 p.m. or later if needed. The shuttle will begin to bring people back to the satellite parking about mid-way through the 4th quarter of the game and will continue until approximately one-half hour after the game is completed, or later if necessary.
