Magna Vista wins at home against Monticello. The Mustangs' #2 Koonce is the real deal, and the Magna Vista Warrior defense played well to contain (not stop) him for the most part. Now the Warriors advance in the 3-A West playoffs to host Northside next week. Should be another great game in the HOLE.

I played one game in "the HOLE" years ago when I played for NS. Definitely NOT an easy place to get a "W". NS will have to play lights out to have a shot. I was a little uneasy about this match-up a week ago, but feel better about it after seeing our "D" stick it to BV tonight. Should be a great game! I know I'm already pumped about it.
