Who you got? Grayson made sweeping changes during the bye week after being handled by Auburn. Moved from the veer to wing T offense and switched quarterbacks. We scored three touchdowns on Fort Chiswell with the new O.

I didn't get to see the game as I was out of town. But I heard we looked much better. Will the new Offense and personel switch be enough with our D that has given up only 102 points through 8 games be enough to give George Wythe any kind of a fight? Will George Wythe have any hangup from the loss two weeks ago? Or will the two weeks off to work out issues make a difference?

Its extremely difficult to switch offenses mid stream and expect to be successful. Teams in the Shen district have tried to switch to the wing T over the years most with mediocre results. Its a more complex offense than it appears. Youre definitely not going to get it down in a week or 2. I see GW winning in a blowout.

You will definitely be able to tell more about them after this week to see if the changes will help. From my understanding Fort still has a lot of injuries to key players so it might be hard to gauge from that game.

The Blue Devils have taken losses from Rural Retreat and Marion. This will unfortunately be a blowout regardless of changes. Really hard to make those kind of adjustments and be proficient in them with not a lot of practice. Hopefully it helps though.

I think the challenge here is as baseball215 said. It's the blocking scheme, especially picking up blitz packages. GW will stack the box so Grayson will have to throw to be successful in my opinion. The Pope kidnthey moved to QB is a good athlete and has played that position well throughout the years. As far as any changes that GW made in the bye week we won't see them tonight unless the game is in doubt. They will save those for the playoffs

GW making changes!! Funniest thing is they are saving the changes for the playoffs. These guys make no changes to anything. they run the same 5-6 plays on offense and run the same crappy D with no other adjustments in sight. Changes, dont make me laugh. ha ha ha

Conceptually the two offences are polar opposites. The Veer relying on releasing two defenders and a QB read since at its heart it is an option offense whereas the Wing T is about getting more players to the point of attack than the defense can account for. That is a fairly radical change at this point in a season depending on what series they are running in the T playbook. They can certainly be successful with it but the blocking schemes are going to be a huge adjustment for the lineman. I wish them well in this venture and will be interested in seeing how this game plays out.

Coaching staff is trying to find some O. (IMO) Tuff decision to make but it's worth a try. I don't think they will win but we will see
