Great season Poquoson. Congrats Leemen and good luck next week

So much for my boys making it to the finals, but we were close and played hard. Strong work all year by the Poquoson kids. We lose some crazy good seniors, but return a whole bunch and we will be slightly better next year with what is returning and coming up. Mr RH, it's been a pleasure watching you. Time to kick some butt on the wrestling mat.

As for RE Lee, they have athletes and a great front 7. The favorite is Appo, but RE Lee does have a solid chance and RE Lee is not a fluke. They actually are the 2nd best AA team in Va, and they have a very good chance next week. I've seen Poquoson, Appo, Union, Glenvar, Graham, Richlands, Goochland, and Luray. RE Lee is the 2nd best team I've seen of the bunch. This was the 1 team I worried about in week 3 starting as coming out of Region B compared to Luray, Central-W, and Draft. The size and speed on the DL for RE Lee is special and they have talent all over the field.

I was really impressed with Poquoson's defense. They really dug in and got the team back in the game. The series when they got 2-3 straight sacks was beautiful. I look forward to seeing them in the semis, year in and year out.

First, congrats to Robert E. Lee. A lot of talent on that squad.

And second, Bulls, you could have packed it up at the half and called it a season. Instead, you came out like gangbusters, played Poquoson football and made an exciting game of it. The city is proud of how you represented us. And I'm pretty sure you garnered much respect from the Lee faithful as well.

Maybe next year, maybe not, but sooner or later the Bulls will be back, and you can bet your retirement savings on that.
