Quinten Greene had a hand in all of Norcom's points including a touchdown reception with 32 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter that gave the Greyhounds a 15-10 win over Lafayette. Greene's reception came on 4th-and-10 and he made the catch in the middle of the Rams defense. He also had a 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, he completed a 2-point pass, and he kicked the extra point.

Norcom trailed 10-8 with 3:22 to go in the game but Antonio Hines, who had a big game of the defensive side, recovered a fumble at the Lafayette 44-yard line to give Norcom another shot at winning the game. The Greyhounds tried a reverse on 4th-and-3 that resulted in a 15-yard loss but a personal foul penalty extended the drive for one more play.

Sophomore quarterback Jacoby Smith took advantage of the penalty by connecting with Greene for a 1st down and moments later, he found Greene for the winning touchdown.

Lafayette scored all their points in the 2nd quarter with the special teams playing the key role. Junior Mike Rodgers setup the first touchdown with a great punt return to the Norcom 14-yard line. DeaMario Tyler ran 11-yards to setup a 1st and goal and quarterback Cesar Ward scored on the 1st play of the second quarter for a 7-0 lead. Ish Roy added a 28-yard field goal just before halftime to make the score 10-8.

Player of the Game
Quinten Greene - could not have done anymore with two touchdowns, an extra point and 2-point pass. He also had four tackles and a pass defensed.

Defensive Player of the Game
Antonio Hines - made the key fumble recovery while adding close to 10 tackles. Although they gave up a lot of rushing yards to the Wing T offense, the Greyhound defense buckled down in the red-zone allowing only one touchdown.
