That's the first name I thought of when they announced Simpson resigning. Was hoping they wouldn't go hire someone outside when they have all that talent willing to coach from previous players. My son always said Miller was best coach he had on team. Kids respect him and he can relate to them being a hometown man. That was Simpson's problem, he never would let none of our former greats help. He only wanted to surround himself with yes men that would tell him how great he was. Miller was part of the teams under Prunty that turned program around. He is in VHSL record books for total receiving yards in a game. Forget the total but was against Altavista and ranks inside top 50 in record books. He was actually only one on staff with any college playing experience and pretty much any high school playing experience. Hope he gets some former players that wanted to help on staff now. Besides a couple of them maybe he needs to replace entire staff. Main thing is he come from what an off season work out program is supposed to be. Something we haven't had in awhile.
