Hawk fans any word on the team going into to the season? I hear they are gonna have a good mixture of speed and size along with a little more youth on the team ? Also heard they did well in the 7 on 7 games they were in the other day.... I know that's not the real deal but it's encouraging none the less... Looking forward to the season... Thanks in advance

Gretna gonna get a nice pick up from Appomattox. He is a kid going into 9th grade. Im friend of the family. This kid Caleb is one of the best athletes in our 8th grade class. He plays basketball and football. He might be a baseball player too? His mother married a man from gretna. They moving down this summer.
I heard Gretna beat GW, Magna Vista and Hidden Valley this past Tuesday in Martinsville. Pretty darn impressive.
The husbands brother is a varsity asst coach (coach winne). i think he plays as a CB and WR. No i do not see him being a Varsity player at this time. I know he is an athletic kid though. not much crop in appomattox at that level in middle school so he is gonna be a huge loss to us.
