GW-61 Hon-7 FINAL!

Yeah that's the same one we scored and right after they fumbled and we scored again.

So were starters in quite a while? I dont care either way but I remember a post month or 2 ago about people having starters in and "running up the score." I couldnt cae less, just trying to figure it out, could have been a brother or cousin in

No that was my bad I messed up our JV played everything after the 1st series of the 3rd. There varsity scored once on our JV and our JV scored twice on there varsity.

Running the score up is what gw likes to do. Trying to use it as a scare tactic for the following opponents. And get there kids read . Not saying I agree with it, but whatever works. Until the kids get to cocky and you end up with a game like Galax

I mean it wasn't running the score up we can't take a knee for the whole second half. When our JV runs an 80 yard td on there varsity we can't help that. No matter what the score is our varsity always plays the 1st half. And then the 1st series of the 3rd Q. After that it's the jv and they work all week in practice so if they can score so be it.

Blaster, congrats on GW'S win Friday night a against Honaker. Sounds like GW
Pretty much had their way with the Tigers. Honaker is definitely rebuilding, and
It shows. I can certainly identify with their fans, and feel their pain. They will be back,
And it probably want take too long.
GW rebounded well from two weeks ago. Sometimes an early loss will actual help
A team, and the lessons learned will pay off in the season.
I was going to ask about the Gray kid, your center. How is he doing? How did he
Get hurt? Will he be able to play again this year?

They definitely took the week off and worked on some things. They looked great on D and ok on O but they will continue to improve. That beating Galax gave us will only help us look at the radford game last year. And Gavin is doing well I spoke with his father at the game. Right now it looks like week 7 or 8 and he should be back. He broke his arm against Marion he sacked the QB and got stepped on during the play.

I spoke with his grandfather this morning and he said that Gavin could play this week against Northwood but the coaches think they will hold him out until the childhood game
