This is the 1st meeting between these 2 since 2010. And GW has won all of the previous meetings to my knowledge and most of them by many points. This year it seems that these 2 are closely matched I say that by way of common opponents alone. So we could be in for a good game but I'm also predicting a high scoring game.
Grayson has a pretty good pass game and that's our weakness always has been. But the D they field isn't spoken of with much respect at all. They don't seem to be able to keep the opponents out of the end zone much at all. But they seem to be able to score but the better teams they've played we're able to have alot of mistakes and still win. FC jumped up big but slacked and gave up some point's and Grayson made it look better than it was. Glenvar had an ungodly amount of TO'S and still won by 20. Now I'm not saying GW is a Glenvar caliber team this year but they aren't Bland, RR or Auburn either.
Even with the beating Galax handed out our O was spectacular in the 1st Q. And we went off on Bland and I know it's Bland but we finally came together a little bit. So if we can keep that momentum going then we can win this game and look good doing it. In the same breath we can lose it and look very bad doing it. Idk how much either team will be able to keep the other out of the end zone. So this game might simply come down to who has the ball last. Or if one teams offense struggles to get going this game could be a blowout either way. I'm confident that GW can and will win this one by a comfortable margin off they come ready. Our backs have been giving it hell the last 2 weeks especially Rayvon Wells.
Grayson should struggle to run the ball on us but I think they will have success passing. GW should be able to run the ball or pass the ball but will have trouble stopping the pass game for Grayson. So I'm excited to see what's going to happen tomorrow night either team can win it's really going to depend on what team shows up and whose defense does a better job. I'm going with GW coming ready and playing good team ball.
