I'm sorry I haven't already done this but with the pass in of my uncle I've had alot on my mind. But I know he'd want all GW fans to buck up and support the team so that's what I'm going to do.
So let's look at these 2 teams.
Sussex is a team that doesn't have much size at all but good team speed. To me they are a team of WRs with some LBs spotted in for some size. This shows on the O and D line with a lack of any hogs as we would say. #73 is a horse but 1 work horse can out work 8. I've seen success from the Tigers come by elusiveness from the QB and RBs not the blocking up front. If the O line for Sussex doesn't play it's best game of the year GW will abuse them with size and depth. We will live in the backfield if they cant just straight up block us. And for us it isn't like alot that have size it isn't sloppy. I feel GW will win the battle in the trench all night. On D the Tigers go at your legs in the middle and rely on speed to seal the edge. Going at our legs is asking to be gutted for 8 yards a pop. For them they must hold the ball and eat clock. Try and spread us and hope the QB has time to move. I say spread because I see them completely abandoning the Veer early it won't be there for more than 1 drive. If you allow us to stack the box you will be 3 and out all night especially with out size and speed. So now on D they will again have to find some size to get in our lines ass if not we will move them at will and ram it down the field. GW just needs to do what we do beat on the opponents until the wilt from our depth. Get in the gaps and cause panic and havoc in the backfield and use our LBs to crack heads. Many have tried to say we don't like contact well they are wrong we will smack you just to do it. Go check out the write up about our kicker smacking people that will tell you what you need to know about our physical play. For me it really boils down to who has the better line play and who has the fresher bodies late. And I honestly think GW will win in both of those categories we simply have what it takes this year imo. But we are dealing with a bunch of 16-17 year old kids so...
