Greetings from Reston as South Lakes leads Centreville 14-13 at the break.
Forgive me for not having as many updates as usual but with limited room in press box tonight I am doing work from the sideline while taking photos and keeping stats alongside my colleague James Timmons.
South Lakes has 85 yards passing on 5 of 7 from QB Devin Miles. He had a TD pass to Spencer Alston, who has 51 yards rushing as well. Dave Hagengimana has 3 catches for 52 yards. Leading the defense with 7 total tackles is sophomore Joseph Dagbe.
As for Centreville, they have been led by RB Jordan Wright and his 101 yards on the ground and a touchdown on 6 rushes. QB Presley Egbers has completed 6 of 7 passes for 49 yards and a TD pass to Tre Maxwell. Keenan Anunay has 3 catches for 27 yards.
Also of note - Centreville RB Bassie Kanu checked out in the 2nd quarter with a leg injury.
