Hey Mike...,

Mike will do the job. Everyone knows that. Why would anyone be premature? This isn't Prom night.

I'm not going to beat you, but I am going to make you ride somewhere with those two pest I was with last night! I started to turn around and bring them by your house and drop them off. It was a long ride home.

On another topic, I can see why Coach Mills and Coach Harless are good friends. Both are consumed with football and are super intense. In fact, they look enough alike that they could be brothers. At least for last night, Coach Harless was wound up more than Coach Mills. Coach Mills was actually a little relaxed, relative to normal. Not so Much with Coach Harless. He argued every penalty as if the game was on the line, and especially penalties that were not called. But, he and Coach Mills still enjoyed the chance to see each other, that was obvious.

I had the chance to talk with a bunch of LB fans, and they are like fans everywhere. Just good folks. Laughed and joked, and complained about the heat.

The regular season rules will be the same. I do need to adjust the playoffs with byes or something to make it to the Finals week with the Final 2 pickers, last year we ended up finishing a week early.

Some games chosen will be on a Thursday, get the picks in early to avoid losing points for late submissions. You are not allowed to edit after games start (Fri 7) or you get a 0 for the week, because I have no way to know what your original picks were. I'm toying with the idea of giving a bonus point to the weekly winner, let me know what you think. Did you have any suggestions DP or questions about the rules?

I don't know if I like the idea of the weekly winner getting a bonus. I think I would be in favor of a bonus for anyone getting every weekly pick correct that week. But, I'm not adament either way about either of my positions.

How many games each week? Only 4a and their opponent regardless of group?. About evenly split between East and West?

I may be in favor of a weekly game added to the list that features a game, regardless of group, that is generally recognized as a big time game that will be highly competitive. Meaning that there could be a 1a or 1a/2a, or 6a matchup, or something like that, that should be a barn burner. That type of game may carry a bonus of two, (or more), points if you get it correct, or cost you two or more points if you get it wrong. And give the choice to not pick it if you don't want to take the gamble. And there could be a week where no game like that fits what we would be happy with. There could even be a week with two games like that. Just tossing out ideas to get everybody's thought process going.

Are you going to file a 1099 on the winners jack pot???

8 East 8 West (4A) every week, considering other options.
