After losing two games this week Hickory recovered to beat Maury 12-0 in six innings. The Hawks scored five runs in the 1st inning and scored a run in each of the first four innings. They took a 9-0 lead after a single by Hunter Gregory scored Chance Maddox Zerhouni and Mason Dunaway who both scored three runs.
Jacob Mustain went 3 for 4 with four RBI and a homerun. Dunaway had two hits while Kyle Delaura and Mikey Polansky both drove in a run.
Jimmy Loper and Scott Crosson combined for a 2-hit shutout. Loper started and pitched four innings throwing seven strikeouts to earn the win.
