A few months ago Halifax installed new security cameras in the Gym and Cafeteria. I was talking to one of the school system officials at church over the weekend and they said that the quality is, "So good that you can zoom and see a piece of trash on the Gym floor," and that video from the camera could be streamed using its IP address. I talked with Mr. Lewis Friday about it and he's been open with streaming the games. If the security cameras don't work, I have had permission with Comet News to use the iPads and use their mics with the broadcasting team I have set up.

We've had thoughts of streaming via Facebook Live or Youtube, but I was wondering if any other schools in the area had any experience with doing such. I've seen NFHS, and I'm unsure about using that medium.

I also would like to know, for those schools that do steam games (Such as BTW21's network) on how they add the live scoreboard to the video? If anybody has any links on their school's broadcasts (especially student-run ones) it would be much appreciated!

I hope you can get this done, great job!

I know that William Monroe High School had students doing youtube broadcasts of at least their basketball games. Maybe contact their athletic director.
