Hopewell lost 42-9 but the game was much tougher than the score indicates, it was 21-9 in the 3rd quarter, Hopewell quarterback Tatum got hurt in the first half and was taken off the field on a stretcher, and the 2nd team quarterback replaced him who a sophomore, he did as well as he could but threw 3 interceptions . Not sure the update on Tatum but I'm praying for him. Really talented kid wishing him a speedy recovery. Matoaca is a very talented team but after watching them last night and seeing Maury play no is beating Maury in C5 , good luck and stay healthy.
