Last year Hopewell lost three straight games during this portion of their schedule and then went on a 5 game winning streak claiming the Class 3 State Championship. On Friday they start off with Class 6 Thomas Dale (5-2), then they travel to Dinwiddie and finish off with Meadowbrook. I look for the Blue Devils to reverse their fortunes with two wins and 1 loss. Just dont see them beating Dinwiddie in their own yard. Hopewell is a very sound team. Their qb continues to improve and their defense has been lights out. WR and db depth is the Blue Devils strength. This is a tough stretch, but it prepared them for the playoff run. Just need to stay healthy. Any thoughts from other players in the east.
By the way I saw where mv and gw have to play or both teams get a loss. Why is this not true for Powhatan and Hopewell.
