How will the 540 (KG/Stafford/Fredericksburg/Spotsy) teams be this year?

So how do we think the standings will shake out this year with the 4B Battlefield teams.

2021 Standings

1. King George
2. Chancellor
3. Spotsy
4. Courtland
5. Eastern View

2022 Standings (my opinion)

I see KG continuing their dominance of the Battlefield. They return all their skill positions and no one seemed to challenge them last year. Will EV rebound and get back to their winning ways. Courtland redistricting getting more kids from Massaponax, will this help them get back to where they used to be. Chancellor gets a new coach late in the game coming over from North Stafford, will this be enough time to implement his change on the program?

Look for Mountain View to take the Commonwealth District again. Will Riverbend finally break through with the athletes they have returning? Colonial Forge just hasn’t been the same since Bill Brown Sr. retired.

As for the Battlefield, King George returns enough athletes to have an undefeated season and win the district. Eastern View has a ton of athletes and could compete with King George if the 2nd year coaching staff can figure things out. Spotsylvania is there but has not been consistent enough in past years to win the district outright. I think a team everyone should keep their eyes on, is James Monroe. Courtland is the same vanilla Courtland everyone knows how to plan for.

Yeah this should be a heck of a year for the battlefield. Coghill doing great things at JM so I see them coming on strong. EV always solid and their principal is a football guy (always helps a program). I think KG takes it again ultimately but anything can happen here.
