Norcom is the favorite in 4A with the duo of Travis Fields and Travis Ingram in the backcourt, plus the addition of Nansemond River transfer K.J. Davis further solidifies and already good perimeter attack.
Booker T. Washington has size up front to give them and others problems. Heritage saw two of its guards - Malik Marrow (Cape Henry) and Jermaine Marrow (New Hope in NC) transfer, plus graduated forwards Troy Gibson and Corey White, so they're not quite as strong as last season. Still, they ought to be in the Top 10 mix with the return of All-Conference wing Romello Anderson, one of the best slashers around who should average around 20PPG.
Would also keep an eye on the likes of King's Fork, Lakeland, Lake Taylor and Deep Creek in 4A-South as well as Grafton and Glen Allen. Grafton has one of the best sophomore guards in the state with Cle'Von Greene.
As far as 4A-North - Handley lost a ton, so I doubt they get back to the title game. William Fleming and GW-Danville are two teams I'd watch out for that could grab State Tournament berths.
