Thank goodness HSHS showed the class to not run the score up like certain other teams felt the need to do to inferior teams tonight!

I was wondering why they only scored 39. East Forsyth beat them 37-7

The entire 4th qtr was played by the 3rd & 4th string players from HSHS’s bench. The end of the 2nd qtr(the last drive),and the entire 3rd qtr was mostly the second string. The HSHS coach really works hard on his depth,and will NEVER run a score up on a team. He doesn’t believe in “style” points. He respects that these are just kids,and no need to embarrass anyone.

If the coach had let the first string play the entire game,the game could/would have been REALLY ugly! That’s not what the Springers are about!

Page has a good team,and we look forward to playing them again next year,but I’d rather see HSHS play Vance,on of the Foresyths,or Mallard Creek.

Like we said Page was down and really haven’t been the same since coach Gillespie left.
