HSHS Springers vs OFS Tigers

Sad so little discussion on this matchup between two premier programs while hayfield dominates the headlines. Good example of there being more money in the negative than the positive.
The Commonwealth district is always one of the toughest districts. Colonial Forge is still clinging to life after the elder Brown retired.
I'd love to see that, but James Madison might be a tough out. Lake Braddock is looking good tonight and has live commentary on NFHS.
Okay, after watching as much video as I can for games vs HSHS this year, here are the things I think the Tigers will need to overcome tonight.
Kicking game is fabulous!!! The Springer's punter is a difference maker & creates a flipped field for them. It creates a huge advantage to force their opponents to drive another 10-20 yards compared to what teams are used to! A lot of mistakes by their opponents not being able to stop their gunners, too. You can bet the Springers are counting on this for success!
The Springers made 3rd & 4th quarter adjustments to setup their big plays in the 2nd half to make the difference in those games they won. It looked like GA, Herm, and Riverbend was better than HS the 1st half. You can't discount conditioning also coming into play in those games, too. HSHS just keeps coming at you but the same should be expect by the Tigers!
So, for Tigers, they want to be able to connect on the big plays they were successful with vs KF, IR, Herm & NR early in those games. If that doesn't occur, it's just going to be a slugfest with the team with the fewest mistakes taking home the title. But I like their chances.
