I feel sort of ambivalent. I do not profess to know the coach at GW but he seems to want to see the kids grow and get a chance at the next level. Allegheny County was once a proud program. Some kids want a way out. I know Christiansburg became such a power in wrestling that parents would move from other states to make sure their kids would get to wrestle and get coached at Christiansburg.I feel bad for Covington. Two Power 5 players of theirs at Botty.
I think you’re referring to Botty and not GW in your statement? I agree. I’m with kids bettering their opportunity but it does suck for Covington High School to lose two homegrown power 5 players (that we know of). It’s like when a mom and pop store is in business for generations and here goes Wal-Mart and Dollar General on the block. Same exact thing. I’m not hating, I just feel for that community.I feel sort of ambivalent. I do not profess to know the coach at GW but he seems to want to see the kids grow and get a chance at the next level.
