I’m hearing whispers of all games moving to Thursday!

Any info?!
I think they need to wait until Tuesday to make a decision. As of this morning, the forecast has the storm centered of the coast of NC on Thursday. which would bring rain and wind in Southeastern Virginia. By Friday, it will be moving past Virginia and out to sea. Which now they are saying rain chances on Friday are minimal. So, AT THIS POINT it looks like Friday might be a good night. Considering there might be a lot of rain on Thursday, fields could be drenched on Friday..... For me, I'd love to see this game on Saturday, which is supposed to be Sunny with 0% chance of rain and the field would have a chance to dry a bit.

I think it best to wait till Tuesday to make any decisions. This thing still is unclear... I mean a couple of days ago they were talking about landfall in Florida and now it looks as though it will graze Florida and just come up the east coast... By Tuesday maybe they will have a better idea of what it will or will not do. Maybe we will get lucky and it will just curve back out to the east and go back out to sea.

I think the wise ones will wait until Tuesday to make the decision. By then, it will be pretty certain how Virginia will be impacted.

The cone is really wide by Friday. It could be so far out to sea that it's not a concern. Or, it could track through central Virginia, God forbid.

This forecast might change 5 or 6 more times by Tuesday! It could cut across Florida and into Texas! Who knows!

Are we talking weather forecasting?
5 days out, 90 mph winds at 2pm? LOL!
The world is flat and the hurricane will fall off by then! Where did you see that?
I’m watching the weather channel right now! They are calling for 90+ mph winds for VaBeach Friday. Things can change, but it doesn’t seem it will vary its path much...not making landfall at all. Myrtle Beach mandatory evacuations Tuesday

I've been watching it too. 90 mph winds in the center of the storm, it will be roughly 100 miles off shore, Va Beach will probably have 25- 30 mph gusts.... This is why I said in an earlier thread, they should reschedule this game on Saturday.. It will be long gone by then... and it till could change course by then too. Any event, it should be long gone by Saturday!

Based on the latest, Thursday night in the southeastern third of our state might be wet and windy.

Friday night looks a lot better, except for maybe soggy fields. Probably a little windy. But, I think the games can be played ok.

I’m hoping you’re right. I’d like to play the traditional Friday night games, but travel to Games, on the coast,Friday could be an issue for buses carrying kids. 90mph winds at 2pm are not gonna be much different at 5 or 6. I agree with @springer76 ....Saturday would be safer. I say a DEFINITE NO to Thursday if this storm schedule holds firm.

I know with HSHS...traveling to OS will not be fun Friday night...JS
