After two years in the lovely state of Georgia, I have returned back to Virginia!

I see there have been a lot of changes since I've been gone (6A? Really for Virginia?) I have seen a lot of good high school football while in Georgia but there is nothing like having good old fashion Region A football.

I also see the boards have changed as well. Go figure.

In any case, for those who don't remember who I am, I am the Region A Scouter! While I enjoy the games, I provide insight on teams (in a comical way) but also provide enlightenment as well. Noticeably, I have seen a lot of debate on Region A teams in the first two weeks on who is good or not. So for my first post back, I thought I would keep it simple with my top Region A Teams and where they are at. I will keep it simple with my opinion from my brief reviews (I have already seen a majority of teams thanks to scrimmages, game film, and recaps). The teams I will be reviewing are the original Region A teams when I was around. (Arcadia, Chincoteague, Nandua, Northampton, Charles City, King & Queen, King William, Mathews, Middlesex, West Point, Franklin, Surry County, Sussex Central, Windsor, Colonial Beach, Essex, Lancaster, Northumberland, Rappahannock, Washington & Lee).

1. Essex
2. King William
3. Franklin
4. Sussex Central
5. Rappahannock
6. Nandua
7. Washington & Lee
8. Charles City
9. Lancaster
10. Colonial Beach
11. Northumberland
12. Windsor
13. Middlesex
14. Mathews
15. Arcadia
16. Northampton
17. Surry County
18. Chincoteague
19. King & Queen
20. West Point

Feel free to post your opinions, comments, and more. I will revise my poll probably every Monday. And yes, I will bring back the comedic insight at mid-season for you all to enjoy my Region A review!

Glad to see you're back. I can now look forward to your mid season review of the region. With the new regions Nandua, Arcadia, Washington and Lee, and King William. Also i'm not sure but Chincoteague's schedule may make them ineligible from playoffs if it is the same as last years. I think that is accurate anyway.

Also glad to see the return of the Region A Scouter. We will look forward to your always educational as well as entertaining reviews of the old region A football action.

I think that I've seen like 5 or 6 different takes on the possible NND finish (besides Essex at the top). Makes it interesting and fun. I'll try to compile them in one spot and see what it looks like now and later.
