(since this board has been dead for 19 days, I decided to liven it up some.)

Would it improve college baseball if the "strike zone" was expanded IAW rule book ? I ask this becasue I see many college game scores that look like Church League Softball scores. With aluminum bats, pitching has been just about taken out of game in many contests. Granted the best solution would be to go to wood bats, but I don't see that happening due to politics. If "strike zone" were to be expanded, it would make for a better game, in my opinion. it would force batters to go to plate and swing the bat, not go to a full count on every other hitter.

Not sure what you are saying. I see 12-15 college games a year and swinging the bat is not a problem. Not many walks in college baseball.

In games I see, there are lots of BBs and lots of deep pitch counts to many hitters. there are too many cases where pitcher has to throw it "down the middle" to get a strike, and when that happens, hitters and aluminum bats rule.
