Those of you who have been on this board for at least a year may remember Chi Bears. He was a friend of mind and an avid Oakton fan. I regret to say that he was laid to rest this day. An unassuming man, he never met a stranger and was a kind person. He was at the first two Oakton games this year, which is the last I saw him.
I always enjoyed reading his posts after the game. Win or lose he always was a gentleman and never took an opportunity to be critical about or to anyone. His last post on this board was last year. He had an amazing memory and recall of the details of the game. For some reason he did not post this year.
I will save a seat for him at the remaining Oakton games this year. He always got to the games just before kickoff (I'm in my seat an hour before kickoff). We'd discuss and speculate game strategy. He will be missed.
