Inadvertent Whistle Question

At the game I worked the chains at on Friday there was an inadvertent whistle on one play. The officials redid the play from the original spot. Is that the correct call?

Probably. There are some options, depending on the status of the ball when the whistle was sounded, but replaying the down is always an option.
