Not yet, but its time to hold the VHSL accountable for anything that may happen on two or three hour road trips during Riverheads regular season games . The VHSL refuses to step in and rule on this! They need to move Riverheads to the Pioneer witch would force PM, Bath, JR and others that are close by to play. They would still play the Shen.teams non district. Playoffs are one thing but putting these kids out there on long road trips over and over is not fair to them , parents or fans. jmo

I know the road trips are long and tiring but Riverheads follows well and if you are like me, you can find something else to do along the way to make it more entertaining. Not that I am suggesting this but if the Shenandoah District really wanted to make things as simple as possible, they could play each other twice. That would cover the whole 10-game season and either all of them could count or only one toward a district title. But the one thing you can be sure of is that the VHSL will continue to change things. They are never satisfied.

Just a quick reminder big mouth, Riverheads never "stepped up" to play Robert E. Lee when the Gladiators were in D2 along with the Leemen. I always heard the excuse of "but we might play them in the playoffs". Now that Staunton sucks I notice Riverheads is all too happy to play them.
And I dont mean any of this as a knock on Riverheads at all.
I suspect you have started something here but the story I always heard was that Lee did not want to play Riverheads, not vice versa.
Lee has always dodged Riverheads until they had to play them . Tibbs jumped ship so he could point a finger at the outcome. When Lee attended the preseason jamboree their conduct was less than inviting . To be nice about it they were a bunch of THUGS !
The one time they beat Riverheads , they were loaded and had a coach ! Good luck . Shen. teams average one win every 10 years over Big Red . Don't see Lee with a W for a long time ! Can't wait for this seasons smack down of the Storm!
Do you watch pro ball at all? If so, have you been watching the XFL? I think I preferred the AAF choice of cities over the XFL just plopping teams down in cities that already have NFL teams. The level of play is higher than it was in the AAF though, but not by much.
