Well, the playoffs are finally upon us.
All seedings, classification discussions, and predictions are meaningless. All that matters is who makes the plays, who limits mistakes, who steps up. It’s one and done time.
For the next few weeks, kids from all over the state will put it all on the line for moments they’ll talk about the rest of their lives. For a lot of them, they’ll never put a jersey on again.
Best of luck to all the players, coaches, and parents. So much goes into high school sports. Fight like hell, but step back and enjoy these next few weeks, too. All of us would do anything to be back in your shoes.
