Woodberry Forest senior Ade Oyalowo will
continue a family tradition of outstanding academics and sports when he
graduates from Woodberry Forest. Ade will follow his older brother and attend
Brown University where he will play football. He is the third sibling to
play on the college gridiron. "My oldest brother played football at Brown and
graduated in 2007 and my other brother currently plays football at Amherst
and is a junior."

Committing to an Ivy League school is no easy feat because
of the rigorous academic requirements. Oyalowo (5-foot-9, 175) has a good handle
when it comes to hitting the books. "My GPA after the fall trimester
(currently) is a 4.38 on a 4.5 scale," he said. "I haven't decided upon a clear major or minor
but I'm most likely considering something in the sciences, though, I also like
writing."

Woodberry Forest finished the season with an 8-1 record and was voted
the #1 Private School team in the state by Virginiapreps.Com. They easily defeated two-time
D1 state champion Collegiate in a regular season game.

Oyalowo finished second on
the team in rushing with 693 yards on 100 carries with 7 touchdowns. On defense
he finished with 34 first hit tackles, and 22 tackle assists to go along with
one sack. Oyalowo is not sure which side of the ball he will play on in college.
"I'm not exactly sure yet," Oyalowo said. "Their original plans was for me to
come in at linebacker. But there was some talk at maybe looking at me as a
running back as well. As of right now, I'm not sure which one I would choose.
It's definitely fun playing on both sides of the ball, so picking a position is
going to be hard. I'm going to play where ever I am needed
hopefully."
