An RBI single by Jack Roberts and a two-run shot by Mac Caples has put the Rapids up 3-0 in the third at last report. I'll update as I hear more.

West Springfield scores a run to cut the lead to 3-1 through six. James River coming up in the 7th.

Carrico closes it out, and James River advances to the state semi-finals for the second straight year. West Springfield finishes up at 18-10.
