A good coach with a tough job ahead of him.
CH as a community has not supported or embraced football for some time. Add to that the tendency that almost all high school football programs are finding it harder and harder to attract players, and even coaches.
One additional problem is CH’s unique situation of being in the rather robust Central District. District opponents include Matoaca, Hopewell, Prince George, Petersburg, Dinwiddie, Meadowbrook, and until a few years ago, Thomas Dale. That’s a murders row for a little team like the Colonial’s.

They should bring back the Southside district and have Colonial Heights go there.
