Not quite sure about the last play. I guess they were trying to overthrow everyone so that the time runs out while the ball is in the air. The pick set up a chance for a run back but Kettle Run made the tackle and wins.

Said the same thing, that last play could’ve potentially been disastrous if the db was aware of the clock and just went down. Would’ve gave Teejay a shot at the end zone with few secs left.
They were too close to goal line to take a knee. They rarely snap under center. They were more worried about safety or fumbled snap touchdown.
I thought Kettle Run got too conservative in 4th quarter. They had been having so much success moving the ball with short passes and screens, but they started running it trying to kill clock and there was just too much time left. But all's well that ends well.

Agree about being too close to take a knee. Kettle Run had a good drive in the 4th and were first and goal. After a penalty followed by a fumble (which they recovered) they ended up 4th and goal from the 33. It crossed my mind maybe to punt to pin them deep since converting 4th and goal from the 33 was very unlikely. I know you don't usually punt that deep down the field, but giving TJ a longer field seemed like a good thing to me. It all worked out for them. It was a great game that was really fun to watch. Two excellent teams who were undefeated coming in for a reason! Have a good one!
