When you are the smallest playing 1A school in the state with 150 kids in the school and you haven't won more than 3 games in a season in a decade and you are trying to build a program up, basically from scratch, then I'll take the win and move onto next week. Windsor was coming off a 30 point win themselves and were playing with a lot of confidence as well. I just got through defending you in another post for someone putting kids down and then you turn around and do the same thing here. Is KQ a state title contender? No. But these kids are busting their butt every day to improve this program. They haven't even made the playoffs in 19 years, but this years team is determined to change that. In the past, KQ teams hoped to win, but this group expects to win.

Not cool at all to diminish a victory for a program that has struggled but is showing signs of life again. I was over at Central not too long ago and there is a different vibe amongst the faculty, students, and administration. It was good to see and it's good to see them have success on the Football field. Maybe every once in a while you just tip your cap, smile and feel good for someone else and leave it at that.
Really dude , so you are looking for DRAMA I see were did I ever bash KQ the program , I’m well aware of their long struggles and yes they should feel great about that. If you look on my comment about Sussex beating Lancaster I said the same thing about my Tigers , I’m just a realest sorry but I don’t get up to high for softness my friend, but please stop trying to create unnecessary drama about KQ. Dam
You didn't down KQ, but you did down Windsor and try to take away from their victory. You do realize that coming into this year that KQ has only won 4 games in 5 years? So every win is meaningful when you are trying to rebuild an entire program
I think anyone who knows me on these boards for the last 12 years or so would agree that I am the least dramatic person on this board and am more of a realist than anyone. I just choose not to downgrade kids and football programs to get my point across.
Congrats to the kids and coaches at K&Q. They deserve every good thing that comes their way. Hopefully, there are a lot more highlights for them this year and in the coming seasons.

Windsor dosent play defense , I have been around Windsor s program for 30 years and they have never valued defense ( that's a fact not a put down) I doubt you are a realist if can't see that.
And I'm sure if Windsor had of won, you'd have just said, oh it's just KQ. Either way you'd have said something to downgrade it either way. Yes I know there's a lot of teams who aren't good, but just because I don't call them out on a public forum doesn't not make me a realist. It just means I have respect for all of these kids and programs.
I guess Blessed Sacrament Hugeonot who King and Queen defeated in their first game and who KQ lost to by 60 last year is a poor team too.
Btw, KQ starts a freshman quarterback, a freshman center and 2 other freshmen on offense plus 4 freshmen on defense. They have a good combination of youth and veterans who have bought in
