WP driving for the final nail in the coffin. Fumbles it away to K&Q. Just under six minutes left. 34-22 WP

That should be it. Wow! WP wins their first FB regional title since.....I have no idea!

West Point 34 King and Queen 28 Final. Hard fought game by both teams. Congrats to the Pointers on their 1st Region A Championship since 2009

Judging by the looks of this game, I doubt either team stood much chance next week vs Riverheads. But I’ll be cheering them on nonetheless!

It’s still a great accomplishment for WP to win Region 1A. Pandemic/spring season strangeness aside. The single wing power had some nice twists tonight. Is this the O WP has run all season?

Here are Riverheads results the past 4 years vs Region A in the playoffs: 38-0, 55-20, 49-6, 17-14 (Essex in 2017), 28-6, 56-15. And you can toss in 59-6 and 46-0 vs former Region A teams

I've seen every game for both teams this year. Both rarely pass and rely almost strictly on their run games, although Dunlap did throw the ball 5 or 6 times in the 1st half last night for Riverheads.

he has a pretty good arm for his size, and he is starting to click with lightner, rhs has so many rbs and all has different running styles, hard to stop them all, and rhs is playing there best ball right now

He has a really good arm. I could definitely see him putting up huge numbers in a pass oriented offense. As for the Riverheads backs, from Z. Smiley to Cox to Cook-Cash to N. Smiley, who I noticed played tight end last night, and all the others, they all indeed have a different style of running.
