King William Softball Advances Over Strasburg

The bats of the Lady Cavs were on fire today as they defeated Strasburg 14-1 in 5 innings. Numerous Cavs had multiple hits and Taylor Johnson had a solid performance. Strasburg did put together some hits in the 2nd, but after that, Johnson shut them down. Onto the state semifinals on Friday at 1pm.

It was a disappointing end for Strasburg after a historical season for the Rams. KW was the real deal. The Rams only lose 3 seniors. Moxley, Henderson and Reynolds the catcher all graduate. They are returning 3 going to be Seniors, 4 going to be Juniors and 3 going to be Sophmores. Arnold, Mayhew and Wiseley will handle the circle. The Rams could make a return trip to the state tournament again with all what is returning and the experience of getting there with such a young team.
