Good tight ball game.

As expected 2 big pass plays by Kettle Run to break open the game.

What was not expected is Cougars Defense. They have played disciplined all year, but maybe I was expecting Glass to move the ball more. Glass will have to make adjustments to come back.

Glass DBs are probably so focused on Tapscott in that situation their mind was not on Rodgers.

Kettle run more physical in the trenches and establishing the tempo and their style of play. Glass QB with no time to throw and having one blitzer or pressure in his face.

They abandoned it. Glass was able to take advantage of Salem's smaller line and the fact both LB' s were out. One suspended and the other dinged up and only used on offense

Glass never utilized the run and never captured momentum . KR ran a simple game plan to take what was given on offense, glass focused on #9 and the secondary receiver had a field day. The run opens up and they starting churning 4/5 a pop. Glass couldn’t find rhythm and the game quickly got out of reach, KR on defense kept a rusher in QB whites face and didn’t give up the Long ball. Coaching and execution today were in KR favor, are they better than expected I would say yes.

Glass didn’t make the defensive half time adjustments I thought they might. Agreed, game plan and coaching won this for KR.

Kettle Run is just very good as was Loudoun County.
