It's going to be electric inside of LHS gymnasium tonight, I know Franklin is battle tested so I'm expecting a game of runs by both teams. A dog fight for sure! How much will that rabid fan base influence the flow and outcome of this game? Comments?
Look forward to watching this one! Pulling for Lancaster. It's going to be electric inside of LHS gymnasium tonight, I know Franklin is battle tested so I'm expecting a game of runs by both teams. A dog fight for sure!
It's been many years since I was at Lancaster, did they expand the gym seating/lighting?How much will that rabid fan base influence the flow and outcome of this game? Comments?
Your absolutely right, Hicks and Grant will have to play big to come away with the win tonight!I think it's important for Franklin to get off to a good start and try to take the crowd out of it. I look for Hicks to try to make his mark in the paint. He had 21 against Northumberland. Tomlin will have to hold his own for Lancaster in that matchup. Grant will have to play well for Franklin too. He's not very big at just 5'9, but he can score. I think this could be a defensive game, possibly in the upper 40s or 50s. For Franklin, they're not going to stop Russell, but they have to at least contain him and make him work for it. They also can't allow Diggs to go off like he did in the regional championship and put up 25 pts either. Both teams are playing their best basketball at the right time, and I look forward to a very competitive game.
Same gym the new school is being built as we speak, the gym holds 1,600 or better. It's been many years since I was at Lancaster, did they expand the gym seating/lighting?
Hard to believe it's large enough to host a state semi-final game?
I'm a bit surprised with the four schools remaining Noone is really picking Lancaster to win it all. I mean they are back to back champions,I don't think coach Pinn gets the respect he deserves.Look forward to watching this one! Pulling for Lancaster.
Lancaster has a great program, well coached, solid from top to bottom, but they lost a mammoth Hoops player that was the kind of kid that just took the game over. Not having him this year hurts, or can be the difference in a top 2 or 3 team compared to state champs. Lancaster will probably be in the thick of things for the next 10 years, but I don't think they are state title caliber for this season. Could be wrong though.I'm a bit surprised with the four schools remaining Noone is really picking Lancaster to win it all. Very true, that’s why I’m pulling for them. Lost there top guy and still kept pushing forward.Lancaster has a great program, well coached, solid from top to bottom, but they lost a mammoth Hoops player that was the kind of kid that just took the game over. That team lost three starters to graduation, one transfer, and the only returning starter left the team. I think this only speaks to coach Pinn and his staff. I think we may see a GW, Lancaster rematch from 2023.Very true, that’s why I’m pulling for them. Lost there top guy and still kept pushing forward.
