Fox Sports signed a contract today to carry all Dinwiddie Football games live. After a protracted bidding war involving Fox, CBS, and NBC, the $4.4 billion contract was signed today. Though all contract terms were not disclosed, it was rumored to be a five year contract.

Contract negotiations were stalled by the networks insisting that Dinwiddie play all games during prime time on Monday nights. In the end, it was negotiated that the games will be held on Saturday nights.

Cashing in on the bounty will be the fans. Both home and visiting fans will be given a cash voucher for $3500 each time they attend a Dinwiddie game. Concessions will be free, and be catered by The Jefferson Hotel.

Parking will be free of course, and a private valet service will be provided.

You may recall that Dinwiddie's domed stadium was completed last year. Plans have are being made to upgrade the facilities this year while increasing seating capacity to 125,000.

On a related note, the Dinwiddie HS Biology Department was selected today to establish a breeding program for Ivory Billed Woodpeckers, and Carolina Canaries.
