VaPreps Honorable Mention
May 17, 2017
1,983
1,908
113
Lynchburg, Va
From what I See on the Seminole District website:

Aug 30 Magna Vista
Sep 6 Brunswick
Sep 13 @ RE Lee Staunton
Sep 20 Brookville
Sep 27 BYE
Oct 4 @JF
Oct 11 Glass
Oct 18 @ Rustburg
Oct 25 @ Liberty
Nov 1 Amherst
Nov 8 @ Heritage

Good schedule that sets them up for some wins in non district. If they can stay healthy and win at least 3 games in the Seminole, they'll be in good shape for the playoffs. I see them making it to the Region Final vs Heritage.

For folks in the RVA area:
This is Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg not Life Christian Academy in Chester.
Liberty CA was moved into Class 3 as a result of reclassification.
Liberty CA is private but is a VHSL member as a result of a law suit.
Life CA is not a VHSL member.

Liberty was Class 2 but was moved into Class 3 by 6 students as a result of reclassification.

Slight correction, Liberty Christian was C4 and moved down to C3. Their enrollment is multiplied by 1.5 for classification puposes.

Has any of the LCAs done much in recent football history to have much discussion about who was LCA first?

Life Christian is only a 2 year old program that went 4-6 or 3-7 their first year. They did play a national schedule so that contributed to their losses. Coming into this season though, they have 16 guys with D1 offers. TBD on how that translates to Win/Losses.

Liberty Christian has been mediocre at best since joining the VHSL 4 years ago. They made the playoffs the first season in VHSL but had a lopsided loss in the first round.

To answer your question, neither has done anything worth noting within the last 5 years.

both however are unique enough to warrant discussion in July (at least for some of us).

They cant??? Wow! That must be new.

Appomattox plays a benefit game there. Hope they don't play that on that filed over the hill from the school. Not much seating there!
