They're having some Internet connectivity difficulties at Hampton University for the Class 5 State Finals with Stone Bridge and Highland Springs - where VirginiaPreps.com's Danny Lewis and Devin Payne are located.

So what we'll do is post some Twitter feed links and allow the guys to chime in when they are able to get near a computer and fill in the blanks / empty spaces. Others that want to chime in with scoring posts and updates while I'm watching our double-header at Liberty are more than welcome - and encouraged - to do so...

Sorry for the delay folks but wifi is up and running and you can tune in here for updates all day long. Sringers lead 7-0 with little over 4 minutes to go in 1st quarter.

Beautiful pass to Tai Felton to the Stone Bridge sideline just inbounds has the Bulldogs sitting pretty at the Springer 32

jersey tackle by Moyer of Highland Springs to bring down Jared Cole. Moyer is a little shaken up but walking off the field looking to be okay.

Pass broken up on third down, hit the ground before getting to Taye Davis. Bulldogs going for it 4th & 9 from the 31

Pass interference called against Springers and on the very next play it is a touchdown pass to Tai Felton to tie it up 7-7 with 2:05 to go in the first quarter.

Neither team is having much success running up the middle today. To the outside or the pass seem to be the way to go early on. That or you just keeping running it up the middle till someone breaks.

Talbert comes through again for the Springers with a big reception to get the Springers a much needed first down

Rayquan slow off the field with a little help. Springers are a deep team so hopefully this won't hurt them too bad.

Pass to Ali Jennings and he is immediately hit by not one but two defenders. Wallers next pass is just a hair short of Talbert.

Just learned the stat guy for the game is not doing the job correctly and we will not have official stats for this or the Class 6 game to follow. Speechless...

Springers get a safety with the Bulldogs throwing out of the end zone and called for intentional grounding! Not a wise move by the Bulldogs. Springers lead 9-7 getting the ball back with 6:00 to go in the second quarter.

Pass interference was declined by Highland Springs. A roughly 30 yard pass has the Springers at the Stone Bridge 11

2nd & 9 for the Springers and Payton Hunter flies in and breaks up a pass intended for AJ Wells that would have surely been a touchdown.

Ahmad Foster-Powell powers into the end zone... Just like that the Springers have a 16-7 lead with 4:37 to go. That intentional grounding call has come back to bite the Bulldogs.

Payton Hunter with a huge kick return to the end zone gets the Bulldogs back in it but as Lee Corso has said before... "not so fast my friend"... Holding against Stone Bridge brings the touchdown back. They will instead take over 1st & 10 at their own 35

QB keeper for Bulldogs but there was another penalty against the Bulldogs, this one for false start. Bulldog fans letting the refs hear it now.
