Has anyone saw these two teams play this year and has any information or prediction on the outcome? Both are 11-1 and I know Abingdon is playing great right now but are they playing over there heads or they legit? Numbers don't lie and Abingdon puts up points and they put points on North Side as well so I say you can't use the fact they have a weak schedule anymore. LB is big and nasty in the trenches but isn't Abingdon a past first team? What are the chances of it being a upset?

I only watched Abingdon once, but their quarterback is outstanding. I was very impressed with his composure against Richlands. Their receivers are very good......with one, I think his name is Yates, being extremely tough to defend. They didn't run well in the game against Richlands, but their primary back appears to be a strong, north-south type runner. When they get on a roll, they are very, very difficult to defend.
Defensively, they have been inconsistent thru the year......at least that's what I get from looking at the scores from their games.

Which team has to win for it to be an upset? Both are 11-1. Just because LB is at home and a higher seed doesnt make them the favorite IMO

The biggest question for Abingdon is......can they make enough stops to win? Their defense is average although they are scrappy and do play hard. Just average in size but they do play hard until the whistle blows. I think their offense can score on anybody and Sturgill is the real deal.

I think if LB can score 30 or more they win. If Abingdon can hold them under that, I think they have a shot at it. The Falcons have come a long ways under Reed and Colobro. Should be a great game.....IMHO.

Agree it will be a great game. If Abingdon can keep Fletcher in check and play with the LB O line they will win as LB doesn't have much of a passing attack. If LB can keep the receivers in front of them, limit yardage after the catch and limit the big plays they will win. Abingdon won't run on LB IMO. Pretty simple. If the score is close to even at halftime LB has the advantage because their offense will grind the defense down and once they figure an offense out it's hard to come back on them. Northside knew how to keep the run in check but no one has been able to. Good luck to both teams.
