Luray 35 Madison Co 33...

I went to Eastern View/Orange game but my wife went to the MC game and this is what she told me about it:

Madison had 6 turnovers -- 2 interceptions that went off receivers hands that ended good drives in the first half. 2 other interceptions in Luray end zone or near it. 2 fumbles in the red zone.

MC's last turnover was an INT in the end zone with about 30 seconds left. Apparently overthrew an open WR with what would have been the game winner.

Multiple penalties on both teams -- very chippy contest from start. MC outgained Luray by a fair amount but the turnovers and penalties were killers. MC missed 2 XP.

Luray ran the same play over and over in the second half with a lot of success.

Looks like MC will be in trouble next week v. a strong East Rock squad.

Just saw that MC's Isiah Smith had 259 rushing yards in this one. He has almost 500 yds to 2 games. Man he is good.

I thought the EV/OC game was going to be the best game...got that one wrong. EV won in a laugher and this one came down to the last few seconds.

Well, you are welcome! It sounds as if you are butt hurt because my post is a bit one sided in favor of Madison. Well it is one sided...but it is also factual.

I doubt it very seriously,Luray had to do something to score 35 pts. at least they can kick a extra point,when you get beat suck it up and get ready for next week and quit crying.Hurts when a class A school beats anybody it seems

Sounds like a good game to see. How good is Luray because Madison seems like they are fielding one of their best teams in years?

You totally missed my point. The game was not one-sided...my post about the game was/is one-sided. As I said, I only posted what my wife told me about the game since I was at EV/OC. However, the facts of what was posted is factual as verified by the newspaper the next day. If you want a story on what Luray did, go to the game or ask someone who follows Luray.

Was at the game,Madison has more skill players for sure,but the Bulldogs played hard from start to finish,they hit hard and that helped contribute to the turnovers,your receivers where looking for the DB,s instead of the ball.

We have East Rock next and they are the real deal from all I have heard. The little lady did say that #40 was a stout (her words) LB.
