Excitement fills the air once again as Lynchburg area teams hit the field again at Heritage for the spring 7 on 7s!
Teams that came out:
Heritage
Rustburg
Amherst
Brookville
2nd session
LCA
EC Glass
Appomattox
2 teams really stood out to me:
Brookville and Rustburg stood out to me in the first session on both sides of the ball. Brookville is much bigger and stronger as they were last year and are much more in sync and coached up. Rustburg has a good group of upperclassmen to lead them and it shows.
Other teams that stood out:
LCA - still athletic and they communicate well on Defense - they’ll still be a very good team
Glass - Defensive 7 looked good, played hard, and kept everything in front of them, curious to see how Coles would do with the ones at qb
Heritage - Offense has an experienced QB that made plays with his arm
