Madison finished the season 21-5 overall. MC jumped out to a 12-3 lead, Bluestone stopped trying to press and scrapped out to a couple of points lead at the halftime. Was a close game the rest of the way until mid-fourth quarter when the Barons built a 10 point lead. MC had to foul late and Bluestone made their FTs.

#11 for Bluestone is a very, very good player. They host Greenville Thursday and I expect them to win. However, I can't see them having much luck when they play with officials who are not into the "And1" style of basketball. But I have been wrong before.

Madison is one year away. They've gotten a taste now on what that next level is. They have to be in the early discussion as top contenders next year. Especially if those younger guys who were role players continue to develop...which they will.

I thought they might get that one against Bluestone. Still, heck of a year for MC.
