Agreed. Buckingham is a historically good team that Appo barely survived last season. The AXE could fall and so would Appo in the top ten listing.

That's sweet man. We have a great rivalry, not a bitter rivalry its more out of respect. Like putting up better Christmas lights than your neighbor. Fun game every year.
Now Appomatox rivalry with Rustburg was bad, we reinvented it last year with somebody digging out the old lantern we played for back then. We haven't played Rustburg for years. 80s and 90s, early 2000s was bitter rival years. then some idiot AD stopped putting them on schedule??? Last year, principal and AD wanted to start it back up. crazy thing, other than Richlands, Rustburg & bucktown was our hardest played games (rivalry games) all season. i remember one year our fan bus mooned Rustburg fans out the parking lot and they followed our bus down road to achs parking lot. bunch of pushing and shoving happened but it was broke up before a big fight happened. We HATED RUSTBURG BACK THEN. Liked the women though, rustburg always had some bad women! Had a shorty on the cheerleader team and she wouldn't tell anyone i was from appo.
