Most teams have at least a game or two under their belt. Some are still waiting to play. This is just my opinion and for conversation purposes. As the season gets going more, things will surely change.

1. Parry McCluer
2. Twin Springs
3. Lancaster
4. Altavista
5. Auburn
6. West Point
7. Eastside
8. Rye Cove
9. Bland
10. Buffalo Gap

They were 12-4 last season and returned just about everyone and are off to a 3-0 start this year. They'll be a solid team and their big man, Ethan Chavez is a really good player
Wow man I'm impressed. Rye Cove is a good team but not many people see them due to their location. Seeing them and Twin Springs battle this year should be very fun.

I agree. If I'm not mistaken, last year the first game between them was close, but Twin Springs won the second meeting fairly easy. I look for both teams to be in the mix in Region D, which is probably the deepest of all four regions.

My question is what is the strength of schedule. Some teams have to go against D2, D3, and sometimes D4 teams. This because of district alignments. Riverheads/Buffalo Gap are prime examples. Granted sometimes one or both do have a weaker 1A on schedule because of transportation issues. I intended no disrespect to Rye Cove. To early in the season to judge anyone.

Their district alone is arguably the best 1A district in the state with them, Twin Springs, Eastside and JI Burton. I think they can play with any 1A team in the state. I understand your thinking on strength of schedule, but I think they will do well, regardless of who they play
