I'll admit this was a tough top 10 compared to some others. Should be a good week of basketball ahead and I plan on catching as many games as I can. As always just my opinion and feel free to chime in.

1. Lancaster
2. Parry McCluer
3. Fort Chiswell
4. Eastside
5. Auburn
6. Buffalo Gap
7. West Point
8. Altavista
9. JI Burton
10. Rappahannock County

Kwhs95fan. I agree with your top 10 line by line. I like the Eastside love. That program just always seems to elevate itself the last half of the season. I would have McCluer first, but again, I think it's a 50-50 game with them and Lancaster, and I would have them first based on last year's title. But, if 10 people watched PM and Lancaster, I could see how at least 5 or more could have the view that Lancaster is the better team, because Lancaster is very dang good. Should be fun in the next couple of weeks. With Auburn and Fort Chiswell, I like both schools. I have lots of friends in Riner (Auburn) only 10 miles away from Radford, and many from Max Meadows/FC area which is only 25 minutes away. I think both of them, whichever it is will have a hard time coming out of the West against PM.

I base my top 10 off of what's happening currently, kinda like the college polls. Yeah PM won it last year, but Lancaster also didn't have a season last year either. Eastside is definitely well coached and Dameron always has them ready for the postseason. It definitely should be a fun couple of weeks. Lancaster and PM are the favorites right now, but there's another half dozen or so teams who could get hot and ride that to a state title

I've had them in the top 10 all year, but put Eastside and Burton ahead of them this week. With that said, I do think they at least make it to the region championship and possibly win it.

Not a bad group. I’ve seen the SW Va teams in person. Others on NFHS. I like BG at 4 based on toughness of schedule. On film look like tough hard nosed kids with a very good guard and tough inside player with a group of role players. The G looks like the real deal. This based on film. B

I think TS is better than Burton.

I kinda agree, but I do my polls each week based on what has happened recently and Burton has played well recently. If you look at my predictions post, I actually picked Twin Springs over Burton in the region championship

No Northampton in this top 10 ? I think they are a very dangerous and hot team going into regional playoffs with a 10 game win streak and the fact the played Lancaster very tough their first game of the season having zero chemistry playing together…

They're on the outside looking in, but I agree that they're a solid team. Not really sure about their level of competition though and they lost to Surry twice, a team with a losing record. I think they'll beat Middlesex in the first round and then lose to Lancaster in the semis..
